Sarasota County Wellness Coalition is a network of community members and organizations working together to prevent obesity and promote healthy lifestyle choices in Sarasota County, Florida.

Major Goals

• Provide educational programs on obesity prevention & healthy living
• Create a sustainable, united coalition through community-wide collaboration
• Promote positive public awareness
• Collaborate on programs to decrease obesity in youth

Events

The Coalition offers quarterly education programs on obesity prevention and healthy living.  These forums are always free and open to the public, and some provide continuing education credits for health and wellness professionals.
